why nothing is priced here

A sofa from Cabiate is a stack of decisions: the composition, the cover and its grade, the filling, the finish on the structure, the feet. Printing one number against the family name would price a sofa nobody ordered.

The quote prices the one you did order. It names every choice, puts the figure under them and holds for the period written on it.

what comes back

One document, by email, within one business day of the message landing. If the workshop has to be asked something first, you get a note the same day saying so and when the answer is due.

  • The pieces, under the factory's own names
  • The covers, veneers and stones that are open on them
  • The lead time Cabiate confirms, not one guessed at here
  • Freight to your address, with customs and insurance
  • Assembly and setting down where the job needs it

How an outdoor seat is built up, from the braid outwards. Drawn to be read, not to scale, and carrying no numbers: the factory publishes no dimensions, and the ones that matter come back with the quote.

what the quote is pricing

Each numbered layer in this section is a grade, and each grade moves the figure. That is the whole reason the form below asks for the room as well as the piece.

The drawing carries no measurements. The factory publishes none for these families, and inventing them here would be the one thing a specification cannot survive.

the form

Two fields are needed. The rest shortens the thread.

After you send it A person reads it, not a robot, and the reply comes by email within one business day. It carries the covers and the finishes that are open on those pieces, the lead time the workshop gives, and the freight to your city. Nothing is charged on this site and there is no cart anywhere on it.

The city, and the room or the terrace. It sets the freight and the covers.

Families and finishes, and a date if you are working to one. A floor plan or a photograph can follow by email.
